I definitely remember girls in high school wearing them. Had the girls on the basketball team and the regular female students in them.

i remember this guy in high school rocking this. He wasnt into basketball nor played it. This was probably around the time where I noticed more casual folks rocking jordan brand and not just folks who were into basketball.

Couldn't break it to him that he was wearing women's shoes. But he was a cool dude and cool with everybody so we all just let it pass and didnt think anything of it.

Concur, the brand could almost do no wrong in both areas of footwear and clothing. I love the sneaker, just wish that it was made in a man’s 16 1/2

How did I miss this thread? I always thought these were a nice shoe. My boy in HS actually copped these over the 13s. He didn't like the design at the time of the 13, and neither did I lol

13 was a hit right away with me. But I always thought these were fire. I remember seeing these in Eastbay mags in 98 99. When I first saw em I was like hell yeah, till I read they were the womens J. Werent these Swoops shoe?

I believe Cheryl Swoopes wore these at one point, then she got her own sig ( the first female basketball player with her own sig), which they retroed last year and hoped we got these again. Glad it worked out that way.

Cannot wait.. I always wanted these back in the day. Their designers back then were killing it. Can't wait to lock a pair down. Be dope if they make plenty.

I always thought these were dope

Much better than that Tinker that came out earlier this year

She got her first sig In 1996. Which she wore for the 1996 Olympics.
