Do Canadian banks accept USPS international MO, Western Union?

which MO is best to ask for from US buyers?

thanks.

IDK about USPS MO, but I've heard that Canadapost cashes it (not sure though)

Authorized Western Union Dealers accept Western Union MO.

I don't know about banks cashing MO's, but don't risk it. I had a MoneyGram Money Order from a buyer in the US. I didn't know at the time whereto cash it, I tried the bank first. They said they could cash it, but a couple of days later I got a mail that it couldn't be cashed along with my MO,which was stamped by the bank. I tried cashing it at another location (they accepted MoneyGram MO's) but they refused to as the banked had stamped on it,which meant that only the bank could cash it. After calling the customer service of MoneyGram, I mailed my MO, $12 and a form an it took 30 days to get a checkin the mail.

Cliffnotes for the above paragraph:

Got a MoneyGram MO from a US Buyer
Tried cashing it at my bank, got a mail that they couldn't
Tried going to another location but they refused to cash it
They said that it had bank stamps, and the bank was the only one that could cash it
Called MoneyGram customer service
Sent the MO, with $12 and a form to them
after 30 days, got a check from them

^ thanks for the informative reply.

eeekkkk @ the hassle ...

guess western union is the best, as they have lots of locations to cash their own MO.

not sure but i heard from a friend that USPS international MO can be cashed @ Canadian banks. but now i wouldn't risk it after reading the problemsyou've had.
