Hi Fam,
Just wanted to share my latest sneaker art print.
'WHERE'S THE KABOOM?'
The AIR JORDAN 7 "BARCELONA NIGHTS" AKA "MARVIN THE MARTIAN". When these shoes were announced, and initially thought to be tied to the LOONEY TUNES gang (SPACE JAMMMM!), I had to draw this mash up. I, much like most artists, grew up on CARTOONS. LOONEY TUNES in particular, had a HUGE impact on me as an artist. Mainly because of the man CHUCK JONES. His style of drawing & animating was BONKERS back then & is still to this day, used as a bench mark for most animators.
Take a hugely popular AIR JORDAN shoe tie in the TUNE SQUAD & I'm all over that ISH!! This print obviously has a bunch of SPACE JAM references to it, but I also made sure to throw in some LOONEY TUNES easter eggs for all my HARD CORE MARVIN fans.
