After his mom passed is prolly the best guess. Ppl act like the amber relationship didnt mean much but Ye definitely loved her as much as Kim, she may have jus been arm candy at first but it seems like their relationship grew deeper over time. Idk much about Alexis other than she is Delta and was on that BET show a couple years ago, I'm sure that wa a big loss for him too.

That wasn't Alexis. That was Brook in between Alexis and Amber.
She gave an interview and said that Ye is actually pretty insecure and just wants to be liked by everyone.
She said he would always want to be around/with her and it got to be too much cuz she had her own career and couldn't travel everywhere with him.
I think he lost it after his mother died and he and Amber broke up.
