I purchased an XXL black Nike Fitdri Vneck tee thinking it would be synonymous with drifit, so I would be able to wear it to hoop in and it'd be light andairy and not hang or get clingy on me when I sweat. But this feels like regular cotton. I could probably send it back, but I hate going through all thattrouble.

I've been wondering the same thing. I have purchase some shirts lately and they fit dri. I figured Nike just change the name around.

its the same thing...u wont find dri fit anymore on t-shirts i believe

FIRST POST!

yeah, it's an old thread, BUT I'm such a fan of Nike Dri-FIT t-shirts and I have to throw my 2 cents in. I'm always on the look out for Dri-FIT t-shirts . . . anyways, there are regular Dri-FIT t-shirts which are 100% polyester and then there's Dri-FIT cotton t-shirts (58% cotton / 42% polyester).

You'll usually see at retail that the Kobe, Lebron, KD and Jordan Brand Dri-FIT t-shirts are actually the Dri-FIT cotton t-shirts (58% cotton / 42% polyester).
