What size shoe to go for ? (US)

Pardon the pic of my feet. I've been sizing wrong my whole life. Need some help. I know it depends on the brand of shoe I'm looking to buy. I just need to know my general Brannock size. Appreciate it if anyone can help.

I'd aim for 12 with loose laces or 12.5-13 if available. I don't think they make 12.5 often tho, usually the .5's cut off at 11.5.

Would suck to have to go up to 13 considering you're barely past a 12 so I'd just take the L and use a 12 with loose laces unless it's too tight foreal.
