fail at linking, but the nike are 1989 "air flight" affectionately known today as the "air flight '89" high. they have never been retroed.  low tops have been whored out many a time in many colorways but the high top is many peoples' "grail."

the reeboks are the original reebok pump, also released in 1989. people sometimes call it the "pump bringback" i'm guessing to differentiate it from the tons of other pumps that followed it. it was retroed in both 2004 and 2009 in anticipation of the 15th and 20th anniversaries of the sneaker, respectively.

like the commercial suggests, the sneaker "war" between nike and reebok was in full swing back then and the air flight was nike's top-of-the-line basketball sneaker next to the air jordan. the pump was reebok's.
