What Kind of paint to use on Nike foams pearls

So I have a few pair of the pearls... I also got a grad student from NYU thats willing to paint my pearls.Any suggestions on what I should have her do? Also What kind of paint is used on something like this?

ive been curious for awhile also ive been thinkin of using dye intead of paint because of the lighter color.i think paint would have a very tough time sticking to such a slick surface.let me know what you think. orange for the color would be sick instead of using a cliche color.

keep them the way they are...you might mess around and ruin a pair of foams for no reason

I would think no paint is going to stay on.

Dye on the other hand might work.
