What happend to ransom & goodfoot?

Does anyone know the backstory on why those 2 stores closed?

I don't know about Ransom but the cat who owned Goodfoot or who had a stake in it was a Nike a employee for some time. They had their share in the spotlight and I think they closed at the right time. I can't say for sure if his departure from Nike and the store closing was tied together. That said, the boutique model is kinda tricky to pull off in Toronto.

I heard the cat who owned Goodfoot pretty much owned the entire building it was located in. So when Goodfoot shutdown, so did Ransom and Stussy moved out. He was also instrumental in bring Stussy to the Richmond/Spadina intersection.
