Whether you have an Iphone or an Android smartphone (or even a Blackberry still) there are tons and tons of useful apps. Some are already prevalent and well known and others are diamonds in the rough.

Share some or provide feedback on some as well.

A few that I use:

Waze: living in the DC metro area and commuting, this is pretty accurate and a useful way to drive to places during congestion and traffic.

Around Me: good for traveling to new places and provides a list of stores/things around your current location.

Zillow: I'm interested in property value/prices for real estate and this shows you what the prices of real estate are for a specific location or your current location. I just came back from the beach and this was cool to see what some of the ocean front properties were worth/selling for.

Whats App: Cool way to text/chat internationally for free.

ebay

netflix

weatherbug elite

elixir 2

chrome

zillow

evernote

Reminders:remind myself of tasks that need to be completed

soundhound: What is the name this song I'm hearing? Oh, it's such and such.

Rowmote:control your mac with your iphone

Dropbox: it makes having a usb almost obsolete.

pdf reader: reads pdfs

av player: plays a variety of media formats such as avi, mp3, mp4, etc

navigon:best gps app that I've ever used. It kills my battery though.

video stream: the most simple way to stream videos from your comp to your iphone

tapatalk: makes nt mobile almost useable

remote:control your itunes with your iphone

Stocks(Hidden Videos and Pictures App)

True Caller

Imdb

DropBox

Can you post with that app¿ Sometimes I can, but then I'll get that "unable to connect" message.

Some apps I use often are(I'm Android btw):

Soundhound Infinity
Bank of America(or whatever your bank is)
Urbanspoon
Nike+ Running
LinkedIn
Krispy Kreme Hot Light: It lets you know when the Fresh Light is on. It's pretty accurate too!!
ASTRO: Allows you to look and edit system files/folders of your phone.
Songkick: Searches your music library and will notify you if they have a concert coming up in your area as well as links for tickets. Just this morning it notified me of Lupe Fiasco performing at a show next month.
Pulse: A nice one stop reader app where I can put all the sites I look at the most and browse through at one time.
Widget Locker: Change up the lockscreen to your phone with different widgets and sliders.

And like you said Waze.. Those two are the ones I use pretty much every day

Good looks so far, there truly is almost an App for everything.

An app for the Krispy Kreme light? Who knew!?

Alarm Clock - Wake up to any song on your iPhone

Paperless - Simple checklist app

Remote - Control your iTunes from your iPhone

Had no idea DropBox had an app. Use it at work on all our laptops. Wow.

Same here I use it all the time for work but never knew my phone had that capability... Thanks for the suggestions, keep them coming! Also describe what the app does and if its for iphone users or android users.

get a craigslist app... throw random stuff up on the selling section throughout your day and see if people bite!
