Von Wafer on JB?

Just watching Game 7 and notice Von Wafer from Houston's wearing AJ III Blk Cement.....just wondering if regular Nike Sponsored players can actually switchto JB?

I guess this game is do or die for him so he's hoping the shoes can give him some luck there...
