Visiting Birmingham, Alabama

Hey, Im going to be visiting Birmingham, Alabama with a club at my school called MAC Scholars, and I was wondering what are some good places to check out. Weare going to be touring Tuskegee, but where are some good places to shop at. thanks

While in bham, check out the Galleria mall for shopping. For educational purposes, The civil right museum they have downtown is really good. Worth checkingout. I can't think of nothing else.

I'll admit. When I went down there last summer to see my cousins, I was expecting it to be your typical deep south town. But bham is actually super cool.When I was there we went to the civil rights museum, this big sculpture called Vulcan(?), ate at abuncha good restaurants. I can't remember everything, butbasically downtown will keep you occupied.

P.s: the females down there "ain't" that bad

Vulcan and the Civil Rights Museum are great Birmingham attractions.

For shopping, try the Summit or the Galleria. However, don't expect to find anything other than your typical chains (Footlocker, Finish Line, etc). Ifyou're looking for hard-to-get shoes, Birmingham is not the place.

For nightlife/entertainment/dining, try Five Points in Southside or Lakeview.
