As the general public, who buy lottery tickets and go to the casino, I feel that we have been 'left in the dark' about Thomas Noftall's case. Either him or the OLG should come clean over how the mistake was made and how much was actually payout after the settlement. First, the guy goes on nationalTV to whine about how he was scammed and so he got the media's attention and people felt sorry for him. It also made us think that we could potentially beconned out of our money. Then he goes to court behind closed doors, and on the same day he blantly comes out and says it was HIS mistake !?!? That'spretty much like asking for someone's help and when you're back on your feet, you slap that person in the face.
Second of all, the OLG...
There's just too much negative publicity about them with faulty tickets and all. They should've came out to clarify the situation and reassure thatthis was somewhat of an isolated incident.
How would it make you feel that your next winning ticket was actually a misprint?
