Thinking of making t-shirts

I'm thinking of making t-shirts with a few friends. I've been looking into vinyl cutters and different heat presses. I was just wondering if anyone on here would be willing to help me out with letting me know what i need to get started. I have some good Ideas and really want to see what they look like on shirts. I honestly just want to start doing them for fun but maybe make it something bigger. Thanks in advance guys.
