As much as I love this show ,I'm getting impatient. I'm ready for the end

What end?

Maybe they should've never had that CDC episode. There aint no end. There's no mystery. This is their lives now. So unless you want a timeskip where society is restored but walkers are small problem I don't know what to tell you.

Eugene is still a lame even in the comics.

All the show did was manage to make him 10x more annoying than I thought he could be.

Yeah but he provides character to a boring drawn out story

watch he will end up being a fan favorite like Darryl, Morgan, and now Carol

I can't lie. I still don't understand why so many ppl like Daryl on this type of show. IMO he kinda exemplifies what you call a boring drawn out show.

I don't really care if Eugene becomes a fan favorite cuz this show has never been consistently of high quality. He's still an annoyingly lame character imo. Like if the reply he brings character tot he show it just shows how lame this show is.

If they really wanted to fix this problem they'd kill Glen, the baby, these other no name ppl and get w/e writers that actually create interesting characters. Writers from LOST, writers from Game of Thrones, etc. Show has been coasting for a while off ratings and the initial appeal. I mean this show is on AMC and got more bland characters than recent shows that were cancelled on AMC let alone their best ones.

I can understand why ppl like Morgan, guy who plays him is an excellent actor.

I agree with the Darryl part and I also would like to see main characters get killed off like its nothing to bring back the threat of walkers how we all was on the edge each episode during season 1, 2, and 3 not knowing what was gonna go down

forget the comics a little bit and shake things up

idk maybe run into Robins Air Force base where there is a group full of air men who have been protecting these cargo airplanes with enough fuel for one trip and now that Rick and company have showed up with Eugene they plane to use that one cargo trip to get Rick and his group to Washington

i guess im just tired of the walkers, shoot, stab, shoot, more walkers, go on journey in the woods, o look more people, friends or enemies? hmm, ok more walkers.......u get where im goin

only point of complaint I agree with is Daryl's character, he could use a major change or just kill him off. He always seems on the borderline of being in a relationship with Carol but then they never kiss or show affection. I have a feeling one of them are definitely dying this season just to finally pull some emotion out of them

I'll let the season play out before I start complaining about this show not being Breaking Bad or Lost quality, let it go already

For those of you tired of the show, what would you like to be different? Besides everyone dying?

This is coming from someone who stopped watching this show cold turkey for I guess 2 seasons? (the season where the Governor just drives off in the end).

The show needs better acting. For a sort of real life depiction of a zombie apocalypse there needs to be acting that can put the viewers through those feels almost every ep or at least every arc building up to a pay off. What I guess is even more important and what I should've led with is way better writing, better plotting, just straight up better story telling. IMO you can't blame this show's bad story telling on the budget. The environment can stay the same but you can do a lot more with the premise. They showed promise in the 4 eps of S1 and then squandered it. Maybe minimize Kirkman's involvement cuz apparently he isn't helping or even trying to make the show have the same suspense or intensity that his comic had.

Better stories (better plots and written characters).
Better actors.

You do those two things this show would be getting awards and consistent award nominations even if you wanted to stretch the show out for 10 years.

Wasn't it already revealed that Daryl is "prison" gay?? I didn't read the article but I would've swore I saw the title that Norman was told to approach the character that way on another site. Sort of like the way we didn't know Omar was gay until they straight up showed him in those gays scenes and then after that he was still a badass.

I sort've figured Daryl just revealed to Carol at some point he was gay and that's why they're so close. It being a secret only cuz of how Daryl grew up.

It's already 4 seasons. This show is nowhere near Breaking Bad quality and not LOST quality for obvious reasons.

this. that part of the show bugged the hell out of me and seemed irrelevant

No That was just Rick going crazy and hallucinating.

It was speaking to the theme that a post apocalyptic world and continually experiencing heartbreaking loss will eventually break you mentally. Like that dirty chick Rick found in the woods that basically tried to get him to kill her cuz she couldn't take it after she lost somebody. Bob I figure was also another example of that. The loneliness would've eventually drove him mad.

or a much better example would be how Morgan completely snapped after his son. There's a parallel there letting you know if Rick loses Carl he'll end up just as crazy. Lori was him at the edge. Actually wish we got some time with Morgan to show how he made his way back to sanity.

Why do people compare shows to Lost?

LOST was great and had great character development for key characters.

You may just have bad taste.

The Walking Dead needs 3 things: 1) consistently better acting and dialogue (sometimes it is good), 2) better pace (I fear this action-packed first episode will be followed by 2 months of nothing), and 3) development (show feels stuck and like we're going in circles, a.k.a. soap opera).

agreed. and it also needs flashbacks, but they refuse to go that route.

The first couple of seasons of Lost was awesome. They went too far with the smoke monster and supernatural stuff though.
