I really want to get back with my ex and I think she'll decide that too once she has time to think or whatever. But, I believe that if you break up with someone you should mean it, otherwise, you try to work it out. I've always tried to work things out with her first and that's why I'm so shocked she ended it just like that without an explanation. She said she was confused and needed time alone to think. I don't believe in taking breaks either but I'm giving this situation a pass since I was temporarily living with her and I know she just needed time apart to think things through without me there. At first I thought it was just the difficulty of two people living in a small studio apartment together. But now I realize what set her off. I wish I could take back what I said. Guess I'll see what's up at the 4th of July party.

Give her the cold turkey treatment. If you let her lean on you while she's still deciding, she won't get an accurate depiction of what life will be without you. That doesn't mean you should outright ignore her if she calls or texts or anything, but don't speak with her on a regular basis from now until that July 4th party. Don't look miserable either. Just live your life. My experience is that when girls want to "take a break" and/or "think" about a relationship, they're really just trying to keep you in the lurch so they can wean themselves off of you while still having your support during the process. If you don't want that to happen, the best way to settle it is to not let them lean against you. If you've already apologized earnestly then that's it, don't apologize anymore. If it comes to July 4th and she's still on the edge, just tell her that you love her but you can't wait anymore. Tell her that you want to be with her, but if it's over for her then it's over for her, and no amount of pushing you do will change that so it's best you try to move on. This is probably one of the realest things you can say, and it'll make her really evaluate how much you mean to her while also making her realize how much she may need you in her life. She also may realize she doesn't want you in her life, in which case it works out the best for both parties, even if it hurts you.

I told my roommate to do this same thing, and he's been with his girl another 8 months or so. Only reason I realized this was the right way to think about it is because I DIDN'T think this way when I needed to, and it ended poorly

I've seen it so many times, when it's done it's done for them. Ain't a damn thing you'll be able to do sticking around. Just thinking back with my sisters/female friends I've seen dudes come back better, faster, stronger, apologetic and actually about change... but it was over in her mind, no going back. Knowing this keeps me away from my ex no matter how great I think we'd be, gotta have some strength.

Man I was thinking of dropping by my exes to pick up my sweater then I read this, we haven talked since may 14 when she ended it, I'm not gonna go over there I wouldn't try to get her back but idk how I'd react if I rolled over so naw I'll get my boy to get my sweater

avy to post ratio is ridiculous

These practice problems on the GRE are ridiculous they added spades, hearts and diamonds I have no problem with math but once they added that its a different ball game now

Lol. Over here if you score under 50% on a subject on your year total you're given a "warning" for next year. You pass but if you score below 50% again next year normally you automatically need to do your year again, no questions asked.

Principal gave me an extra exam twice even though I scored ~40% both times with the warning and passed with the 85%.
