The Official NBA Season Thread: Kings Fire Mike Brown

Name the last Laker 2nd rd draft pick that contributed.

Y'all aren't being serious this morning.

Not even sure if time off and trip to Miami would help Bron

Podcast JJ honeymoon phase about to be over.

Bronny has a Per 36 of like 10-4-2. You gotta throw him in the rotation and see what happens
40 year old Bron can't play 36+ mpg for 82 games, this is why you get 20 year old Bron. Having him pick up DNPs in the G-League is wasted potential

So in other words y’all hold Lebron to a higher standard even at an older age than Kobe because he’s a better player.

Thank you for admitting it.

Bron won a championship with the Lakers, ain no *bubble ring* when every team who was in the Conference Finals in the bubble has returned back to it since the bubble ended. The narrative that it was a “fake” was only made because the Lakers won it. Everyone up here was enjoying those bubble games until the Laker

Washed king be twisting words as much as Lebron flops. Nasty work.

Also a paying an old player past his prime more than what he’s worth as a player as. “Thank You” is organizational malpractice.

This is why the Lakers are terribly run.

Actually this is a reason many people still support the Lakers. They didn’t do Kobe dirty they stood by him and it was appreciated. Most organizations don’t do that. MJ didn’t get that treatment. The same organization sold Magic a minority stake. Obviously they have issues like Jerry West’s relationship.

The same organization that did Lebron a massive favor by drafting his son and putting up with 60% playing time, a bubble chip and one 50 win season.

I didn't twist a thing. You yourself said it. You said everyone knew Kobe was washed those last 3 seasons but y'all were cool with him taking reps and playing time away from young developing players.

Because y'all had zero EXPECTATIONS for Kobe. Y'all don't hold Kobe to the same standard as Bron because he's not and never has been the same caliber of player.

Thats ok.

We are back to the crux of all the issues. The Lakers have a roster problem. They have had one since they blew up the Bubble title team.

Even that team had issues. It was an old team that would not have lasted an 82-game season and playoff run. They were helped by a shortened season and 6 month layoff.

What were the Lakers before Bron saved them in 2018?

Please show me

Wouldn't have lasted but were 11 of their last 13 before the shutdown with wins over the #1 seed Bucks and the Clippers?

Why y'all up here lying?

This goofy as hell….LeBron did the Lakers a massive favor by going there when superstars weren’t going to the Lakers, brought that franchise a chip for the 1st time in 10+ years.

Just be saying stupid 💩 just to get weak hater takes off

I agree, but they were also the best team in the league pre-COVID so I wanna give them the credit there as well. It was better than every iteration of the Lakers after that for sure.
