The Official NBA Season Thread: I’m like Jayson Tatum in the Olympics I'm not playing

Poole guaranteed to play better. No elite speed guards to keep up with him on offense. No elite scoring guards either. Reaves gon be lemon pepper chicken wings.

Laker fans busy throwing out season averages as their argument.

Warriors also were terrible on the road coming into the series. Won 2 tough games on the road including game 7.

Season averages don't mean **** come playoffs. Different animal.

I know the Lakers gave up 2 wins to a Memphis team with small guards and 1 big man with less 3 point shooting and ball movement and slower pace. And also no curry. That happened a week ago.

Grizz backcourt > Warriors backcourt.

Ja and Bane better than every guard on GS roster not named Steph.

There's a whole season missing in there :lol

Guess the underrating of Magic's legacy has begun...

Folks are really letting prisoner of the moment syndrome minimize what he accomplished in 13 seasons

9 finals appearences in 13 seasons, 5 rings, 3x MVP and FMVP's, 12x AS's,9x All-NBA 1st team, 4x assist leader,0x missing the playoffs

His resume is legit unmatchable with any PG

You do realize this exact logic on top of having two top 10 players is exactly why Laker fans are confident going into this series??

Team has 4-5 players outside of Bron who could score 15-20 points & it wouldn't be a huge surprise, they had one of the better records in the league after the AS break missing Bron for the majority of it & D'Lo for a third.

Also i would imagine coming off a 40 point victory in a season where at 1 point you had less tham 1% chance to make the playoffs would be seen as momentum
You know they had the easiest schedule post all star break right? And #1 in free throw attempts. It was designed for them to be right here. Don't get confused with them being legit. They're good. But not great. They have holes too.

eh I think it's totally reasonable to think this. It's close enough where you can make an argument either way.

Magic was the best offensive player of his era.
Steph is the best offensive player of his era.

Damn that's wild. What guard on the Lakers is as good as Fox? Or even Monk?

Gimme a name.
Even Schroeder dropped 26 against gsw . Yall backcourt defense is food. Credit to loon and dray but that's where it stops on that end. Again, no real analysis probably because the Warriors don't really have the upper hand in this matchup.

Yeahhhh I'll take Steph all day. Magic legit loses all of them games curry goes crazy in.

That Okc game that Steph hit that 40' gw..double bang...warriors lose by 30 with magic Johnson.

Last night with magic...warriors lose.

Last playoff, vs Celtics, with magic, warriors lose.

KD doesn't leave to come play with magic. He already had a guard that got all the stats and couldn't shoot.
