The Official NBA Season Thread: Fries Discourse | Mavs vs Jazz

Lil Bron got potential. Starting to play with confidence. Just gotta work on tightening his handle
For real. He's grabbing rebounds and giving it to the big man to bring up the court. Looking like Tony Allen getting the rebound and giving the ball to Marc Gasol to bring up the court when Conley got hurt in the playoffs.

Bronny is like the anti-Emoni Bates, which is why I do think he could ultimately have a chance if he continues strong development.

Emoni is a volume shooter/scorer only that isn’t good enough at it, and doesn’t bring anything else to the table. The type of dude that has to be one of your top couple options if he’s out there on the court.

Bronny happy to be the 5th option and play defense and do little things. ABSOLUTELY has to become a somewhat respectable shooter though at his size.

Facts. Emoni Bates is the perfect example of how sometimes the best individual players aren’t in the league, but the dudes who can star in a role are. But Emoni will figure it out too

As a Cavs fan, im still dying on the hill that he should be in the rotation and if that first shot goes in, let him get 10-15 min of playing time, give that offense a spark

Also good for Bronny for having 2 decent games these last two

Less than 48 hours ago he wasn't a pro.......
He isn’t. Right now. Most 2nd round picks aren’t.

He’s like a 3 year (maybe more) project.

There are some tools there though. Game needs to slow down for him.

So much Derek Fisher in Bronny James :nerd:
Took the words right out my mouth

Fish couldn’t shoot from deep when he first came into the league. But he always could play solid defense and was a steady playmaker.

And then he became one of the most clutch outside shooters in playoff history
