I was wondering who Adonis Arms was. 26 years old. Wow

Nothing new about the way Summer League is covered. The focus is always on the biggest name guys who are there.Folks definitely aren’t gonna care about random undrafted guys that are 6-7 years older than Bronny

Kornet was a human victory cigar and Porzingis missed most of the playoffs.BOS is the champ today because they signed 7-3 Kristpas Porzingis to help Horford and Kornet battle the bigger contending teams.
You missed the point. ClearlyKornet was a human victory cigar and Porzingis missed most of the playoffs.
Celtics have 5 centers for a reason. You missed the point. Clearly
BOS disnt need KP when you playing a Cavs team that was missing their best big man Allen.
They didnt need KP against DAL for reasons I already explained
But had BOS played MIN or DEN in the Finals you’d be lying to yourself if you think Porzingis would not have been needed for all 7 games to win the series
Also, there was a 4 month shutdown in 2020.Kornet was a human victory cigar and Porzingis missed most of the playoffs.
You think BOS acquired KP in part because they didn’t want to have to suffer having 6’9” Horford guard 7’5” Wemby, 7’4” Holmgren and 7’0” Jokic and 7’1” Embiid and 7’0” Townes and damn near 7’0” Giannis etc etc etc? Bet Brad had that in mindCeltics have 5 centers for a reason.
The game will always be about BIGS
….. but they didn’tBut had BOS played MIN or DEN in the Finals
You Still missing the point.….. but they didn’t
Versatility. A concept that escapes you for some reasonYou Still missing the point.
Why did the Celtics build a roster with at least 4 solid rotation bigs/centers before last season started? And then re-signed all of them for next season and beyond lol
Still missing the pointVersatility. A concept that escapes you for some reason
You’re right. Because that’s their identity.Everyone on Boston being able to shoot 3s is a bigger contributor to why they won
You called out two Celtics as the key pieces when they didn’t play.Still missing the point
Versatility is a given. You need versatility in ANY sport, team or individual.
I’ll give you tennis. Nadal ain’t the biggest dude, unlike Sampras, Djokovic, or Federer.
But he is one of the GOATS because he was versatile and his versatility allowed him to win tournaments on any playing surface
But in basketball, as history has shown us time and time again, having a lot of legit bigs and size is the foundation of what makes a championship team.
I can name A TON of versatile contenders throughout history but chances are they didn’t win because the team that ousted them from the championship likely had more legit impact bigs in their playoff rotation.
Even Jordan’s teams were versatile because all 6 title teams had a multitude of bigs who had versatile games. But without them or if he had less of them, MJ as great as he was would not have won all those championships.
You called out two Celtics as the key pieces when they didn’t play.
Your point is moot.
When it comes to being a champion nowadays, one thing is clear
Bigs, wings, guards, coaches, equipment managers.
Everybody
