let me come at it from a different angle: the lakers are already a top defensive team. What role would Draymond serve?

I can understand the Russ logic a little. Theoretically russ was a point that could excel with AD and hopefully take the offensive load off Lebron.

Draymond would only make offense 1000x harder on the lakers. The defense would be cool but the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. Draymond doesn’t fit with an AD/Bron front court at all. I’m not even sure if he can catch lobs
