Harden has had Embiid, KD twice, Russ, CP3, Dwight with nothing to show for it. He's quit/choked multiple on his teams while DWade always showed up big when his teams had chances make a run.

His first MVP season he led the Suns to the best record in the league and had the highest rated offense in the league. Next season, he led them to an almost identical record without Amare Stoudemire, Joe Johnson, and Q-Rich.

There is no comparison between Harden and typical SG’s like Wade, Kobe, MJ. Those guys developed a post game over the years.
Harden is more of a PG plus he has never added anything to his game. If it ain’t a step back or a floater he wants no part of it. Part of the reason his game dips in the playoffs.

His carry job in '08-09 when he won the scoring title and turned around the worst record in the league the year before into the 5th seed after coming back from that career threatening injury was MVP worthy.
Harden never carried a team like that, even the MVP year those Rockets who finished with the best record in the league were vastly superior to that Heat team.

The 2014-15 job by Harden was pretty damn impressive. Second seed in the west with an injured Dwight, and a bunch of role players.

The 16-17 Rockets post-Dwight and pre-CP weren't exactly some great team and Jim won 55 games with them. Got runner up for MVP that year.
He was really good in the last couple Dwight years too, where Dwight wasn't really his dominant self anymore, and the team didn't really have anybody else.
