The Official NBA Season Thread: Derrick Rose Day

I went to bed last night when there was 2 min left in the Sixers/Kangz game and Philly was up like 8. What a collapse

I would really like for SGA to get this MVP. Would be the first North American to win the award in 6 years...at this point ima take it as a American dub
Looking to be on track after finishing runner up last year.

Having just as good of a year, without his no.2 for most of this season so far, while leading his squad to the best record in the league again and winning POTM back to back months.

He's been ticking all of the traditional boxes off so would love to hear the arguments against his case when the time comes, if he keeps it up :lol

Right now, there really are no arguments against SGA as MVP based on on-court performance. But I could see voters claiming that OKC is so good top to bottom that teams like the Nuggets and Bucks rely more on their respective best players than OKC does on SGA to be good. I disagree with that, but I think that would be the argument.

Underrated part of PG's legacy is how loud his mistakes and misses are. It's never something like a lazy screen or slow rotation. It's a miss off the side of the backboard or a shot clock violation. :lol

Main argument is probably the fact Joker is trending better than the years he actually won his MVPs.

Nothing against SGA but when the BITW is having arguably his best season it's hard to top that.
