Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like all his NBA head coaching gigs have followed the same pattern. Good start with getting everyone to buy in and play hard, with significant defensive improvement. Then stagnation or regression after that.

Lou is saying there would be too much pressure to make 2 fts when you're up, but wouldn't there also be pressure on the opponent to make 2 when they're down?

Is it actually an analytical thing? In their scenario, with only 6 seconds left, you absolutely foul. Especially if the opponent has used their last timeout. Especially especially if they have an elite 3pt shooter like Klay or Reggie Miller.

Hard to win continuously when the starting backcourt does this nightly. The record says 3 seed but the rockets aren’t even a top 5 team in the west honestly. My only expectation is top 6 seed and seeing the young guys in a playoff series.

Reed came out timid but at the same time there was never a push to get him going. He doesn’t look confident.
