This is pointless, just like when they added D'Angelo Russell. Unless you are going to overhaul your playing style with a non-shooter, why even entertain this?

Thought I was quoting the Lavine post, but I agree, they might as well bring in Westbrook if this is the angle they are going for.

Acquiring DLo was all about maintaining the flexibility to trade for a player with a similar contract and getting something for kd instead of just letting him walk on free agency. Dubs experimented with the steph x dlo backcourt, that lasted 15 minutes, and then traded him for wiggs and a pick that would turn into kuminga.

Getting DLo was a helluva chess move by bob myers
