Kiyan Anthony should look at Emoni Bates as a cautionary tale.
i think he’ll have easier shots than he will in summer league. I don’t mean hell he will be good i just think when you’re a straight up role player the game is easier when you’re playing with good players. In the real games they’d double AD or Bron and he may get an occasional open look from three since that makes the most sense to give up (especially if he can’t make them).
I don't think Buckets Access was a reliable source.Thought he was signing with Philly last week?
LinkAs per TSN's Josh Lewenberg, the Raptors were willing to bring back Gary at $15 million per year. However, GTJ's representatives wanted a raise from his $18.5 million salary last season, looking for an offer in the $25 million range.
I didn't realize angel was this thick
my favorite pat bev moment was when he pulled out the camera when on the lakers
hope he scams them israelis and comes back here training kids on the lost art of defense. would be nice to see if he can transfer his tenacity via assistant coaching
Completely different types of prospects . Especially how they came up
Lolwut they're literally not.To be fair...they're mostly Europeans over there.
Well Kiyan is looked at as a scoring guard so his defense will be evaluated as a guard. Emoni is a 6'9 wing that was hyped to be in the vein of a KD, Bron, Tmac. Him having a negative wingspan and no defense was a bigger factor for him. Also Emoni had a terrible team around him and mindset questions that turned scouts off. Especially after his Memphis year. Kiyan has a way better foundation. Id argue at the same age hes more explosive. They are entirely 2 different types of players though.I dunno highly skilled, zero passing, tough shot making guards with skinny narrow frames lacking elite explosion?
I think it's a similar situation except Anthony is shorter, less talented and has even less explosion than Emoni.
I'm not saying It's over for him. I'm just saying the path to the NBA won't be easy...he has a lot to work on.
