My 08s came in the brown box

The eggplant, silver, and gold pair in 08 came in the brown sportswear box. The black pair, which was the first retro color to release in 08 came in the orange Nike box with the small Nike sign on the center of the box. I remember they came out January of 08 for $180. I ended up getting those and the Kobe 3’s in black the sane day on Nike.com. Those retailed for $130. Came in the same box as the black Flightposite’s. Those Kobe 3’s were one of my all time favorites and would get a pair today if I can.

Flightposites could be done in almost any color combination and look dope if they fixed the outsole.

These things came fast as hell, no giggity. Just used regular shipping from SNKRS. Wrong sole be damned, had to cop. Right all up in the nostalgia feels from 99, and my fav hoop shoe ever bar none.
Anybody still trying to buy them, definitely go TTS. I’m a size 11 in all my Nikes (aside from Kobe 6’s which we all know run small) so I ordered an 11 and they fit perfectly fine. Even have a little bit of space in the toe, so not cramped at all in the least bit.

I had my doubts about pulling the trigger, I just tried my pair on though and the doubts went away.
Definitely gotta wear these with sweats & shorts, but I’m happy I caved.
On another note, this is the true definition of a quick strike…struck our houses within 48 hours of ordering lol

Hopefully they aren’t too big on you, or you can get lucky and exchange them for a smaller size. What I’ve done before with shoes that were a half size too big and I couldn’t exchange them was I would wear 2 pairs of socks. 1 pair of no show socks on first underneath my regular socks. Helped with the added room in the toe, but not too hot like wearing 2 pairs of regular height socks. Worth a try if you need to
