This like the biggest thing he ever been a part of and it gives him lots of exposure. Dudes been posting flip the script vids in this thread for years and I've never clicked one. I know flip was popping in NYC but I think outside of that he still wasn't a huge name. Jbp has been great for him and his brand.

Realistically nobody was checking for Quinta, if she was more desirable physically I think more of us would care. Halle Berry, we might care.

and IMO you can't be pro black married to another race, male or women.
and I don't believe the athlete they didn't want me bit Ice tried to say. Did these dudes spend time in high school? I know they didn't spend much time in college.

People were talking about Quinta and her White dude back when she and Issa Rae were being pushed to the forefront of Black Woman creatives. Thats why she took dudes photos out of her IG years ago.

in general black women,
at least by their stated preference & even the instance of them linking w/non black men, are more likely to want & be in relationships w/black men than vice versa for black men; even tho the rate at with black men get w/non black women isn’t as high as black women try to make it seem . iit is definitely an observable switch up in preferences when black women do link w/non black men…which is call back to that andrew schultz joke about the ‘black effect’ (also which was something all women, kinda used to do for their men)

Yea the main issue is looks/attractiveness but folks dance around this in these convos because it’s harsh and seems messed up…Always the elephant in the room
But shorty just not good looking, her line ain’t buzzing like that
…And the same for the athletes that pick joints outside their race, they go for certain “exotic” looks 90% of the time, they got black IG joints in the DM’s and strip clubs they go to etc that they could choose from if they wanted …They not looking for Quinta no matter how much bread or fame she got cuz she not in the aisle they shop in physically

There are more Travis hunter type guys than people actually think.
People joke all the time about guys not getting chicks before the money/clout etc I don't know why it changes now.
People were just making fun of the before and after Glorilla pics. "You're not ugly just broke" is a common quote across social media. Quita never had a glow up she actually put on weight and doesn't have style. Growing up a Jehovah's witness exacerbated her situation.
And a lot of people don't want their equal/equivalent. And it starts early wanting upper classmen/older guys. The corporate bae making 100k doesn't want the blue collar guy making 100k because it's beneath her and what her peers might think.
I've seen/heard a good amount of this talk over the past 5 years.

I came out of a black p****y… my mom is black/brown women, I just could NEVER see myself with anything other than a black woman.
That’s my preference though but I also have no issue with interracial dating. Be with who you want. But the ideology of white being better than black as the reason BAFFLES me.
You then have those black men and woman who are scorned and bitter. Who probably were rejected as children.
I just find it funny that people have all these standards… but be living in the shadows, having terrible hygiene.
Some men want a certain type woman but bro, you walk around musky with bad teeth and crusty feet. People are just lost out here really

more fact than not, status definitely factors in how folk get together w/it having more weight w/women altho i think the reason corporate bae & blue collar guy don’t link is because they’re not usually in the same circles; in the instances they ever do meet (providing the attraction lines up) the status thing often isn’t why it doesn’t work it’s usually lifestyle that doesn’t align

i’m not disagreeing with this, and fully understanding that the ting & times change, but in the past it men weren’t necessarily expected to be the ‘lookers’ kinda was understood that women kinda ‘cleaned up’ the men to some extent, which isn’t to say women weren’t on getting an attractive mate just that men were understood to be rough around the edges, the bar is definitely higher now in terms of what is deemed attractive
this is most women, the overwhelming majority of women don’t find most men (initially) attractive & in today’s zeitgeist it closer to accurate that most women actively find most men (initially) unattractive…

You used a poor example that in fact supported what I was saying. He traded another chick in for another, before he was even Travis Hunter. He was just a kid following Deion to Jackson State.
Kids who played sports in high school got chicks. Hell, even his high school career allowed him to get a older chick Your options might be more limited for someone like Zion from a small town and small school, but they're still getting chicks. They're just on another level and have different motives from a high school chick who is cool with going to Applebee's and Cheesecake Factory.
High school girls throw themselves at the popular football or basketball player. It's really no different, just the stakes and atmosphere change.
