Supra Skytop x Nike Air Yeezy aka Poor Man's Yeezy

Thought of this idea while I was backpacking through Europe for a month.
I didn't have the money to spend on the yeezys let alone the time so i formulated my own custom.

So the base shoe is;


& the inspiration is;


This is a (horrible) photoshop i envisioned for the shoes.


Sorry for not having any during process pics but here they are finished;







The inside of the shoe is fabricated with a magenta cotton fabric and i didn't see the point of
doing the whole inside b/c when you wear them only the top will show


The toe and side panels are taken off my old high school reebok beaters,
i simply just used contact binding glue and they were permanently on.


The strap is made straight from actual Velcro.

how'd you do the lining?

these need some tweaks, but youre really onto something with these. a couple changes in the construction and you'd have a winner

the Grey part is a toe panel that i cut off of another shoe and stitched onto this one

the lining is hand stitched and my watch is the Nixon "Newton"
