Suggestions Please! Visiting Sarasota, FL - Sneaker Spots??

My parents won a free trip to Sarasota, FL and from what I hear it's a bunch of rich old people lol. I'm Canadian so keep in mind, anything is fun to us. ALSO I figured it would be a good time to do some sneaker shopping since what sits on American shelves - sells out in Canadian stores.

SUGGESTIONS PLEASE?? I'll go to all the main malls and check out th FootLockers and Champs but can anyone please recommend some boutiques or hidden gems or anything like that??
