So I Am Writing A Paper On The Mental Affects InstaGrams Has On The Female Mind

Need some help on which direction I should go.

A. It increases confidence because of the constant (mostly undeserving) praise from outsiders

B. It decreases confidence because of the number of other females that are constantly getting praise from outsiders

C. It decreases confidence because of the realization of certain females that they just don't match up with other top talent

D. All of these above

I don't want to resort to D because that is the easy way out.

Females use instagram as a way to build up confidence or boost their ego, whether it be through thirsty comments or a certain number of likes, Instagram gives these females a false sense of their worth.


This belief can also backfire and damage them because failing to reach a certain number of likes, in her mind, means that she is "ugly." I say ugly because she probably took the same picture with the same pose about thirty times and decided that the one she posted was the best.
