Return of the NikeTalk Fitted Cap. Help us decide our size distribution and order quantities!

It's back.  

Due to the sustained and highly vocal interest of our members, we're currently working with our friends at @eCapCity  to produce a new run of NikeTalk fitted caps.

As some of you remember, the original release sold out in under 40 minutes and raised over $2,300 for the Children's Defense Fund.

For those of you who missed out, it's been a long wait.  With this new release, we want to make sure that we do a better job matching our sizing and order quantities to our members' demand.  

That's where you come in.  If you're interested in one of the new caps, please indicate your preferred size in our poll.  Hurry: the poll will close at the end of the week.  (We need to get our order in ASAP in order for these to be on sale in time for NikeTalk's 15th anniversary this December.)

The design will be nearly identical to the original release.  This time, however, there will be no patch.  (A "love it or hate it" feature from the original that commemorated the initial release and our 10th anniversary.) 

The poll will help us determine both the size distribution AND the total order quantity - so be sure to submit your vote if you're interested.

Are these New Eras?

I sorta wish they were snaps. I hate buying New Eras online. So inconsistent with their sizing.

Last time around, I invited those who missed out to contact me and send me their preferred size information so we could help make sure one was available next time around.  Unfortunately, my Yuku inbox was rendered inaccessible after the platform change.  

To help, we're going to produce more than 144 units this time around and tailor the distribution curve based on our members' expressed preferences.  That's why it's important that we all encourage anyone interested to participate - and to do so quickly, so we're able to get our order in before the end of the month. 

Need that 8, bro.

Then you'd better indicate size 8 in the poll.  Right now, it's sitting on zero - and if that's where it ends up, I can't guarantee we'll order any.

We're aware of the option and know that some people prefer them for various reasons.  However, people have been asking us for years to bring back the NikeTalk fitted, and that's exactly what we intend to do. 

If we were going to do it, we wanted to do it right.  We promised everyone the first time around that the original release would be special, and that we'd honor the limited edition nature of the product rather than pull an AJ I 2001 retro and make twenty different identical batches with different "X of Y" labels.  

So, to keep the original release special - and in response to everyone's feedback - we're removing the patch, but keeping everything else the same, right down to the green underbrim. 

Are these New Eras?
