Aye is it just me or is any one disappointed that the Garnetts retros dont have Garnetts name on them any more? I mean Im gald they retroed but damn could theyatleast knock the price down seeing as how his name aint on the shoe no more.

It's not the absence of his name on the shoe I'm worried about, it bothers me more that the shoes don't have a real carbon fiber shank.

These aren't a distinct enough signature shoe for me to pay anywhere near 100$. They're still dope though.

1) Nike haven't made a tuned air hoops shoe since about 2002. Apparently Footlocker now own the rights to Tuned Air.

2)I'm fairly sure the shank plate in the OG wasn't pure carbon fibre, but some other sort of weaved material.

3)Garnett reportedly fell out with Nike when he wanted them to support an OBF clothing line, and they weren't interested.
