Repainting Patent Leather

So I've been doing CRAZY research on how to Paint/Dye or ANYthing to Patent Leather and haven't found anything.

Does anyone know how to do it? Without Cracking or taking a L on the Shine.

I've never tried painting patent leather personally

But I assume you would have to prep it Very well

And add a high gloss finish to the paint

Although I don't think the paint will shine as much as patent leather
