Rap About Nothing: Hip Hop Chat Thread

100%. NWTS is his shortest and easily his best. No way in hell someone thinks all 43 of these song ideas can all be good man
I told someone I liked about 5 songs between Habibti and Iceman and was told I need to give it multiple listens. I was then called biased because I previously said I didn’t like expect him to deliver since it’s been since NWTS that I liked a Drake album in its entirety. I didn’t even say it was trash just that it’s not even remotely close to a great album, imo :lol

Yeah. I thought I had seen something where they spoke and patched things up. Cole never really took sides

I don't listen to a whole lot of Big Daddy Kane but I always like his feature here:

I was in middle school when Kane was in his prime. Cats was running to the barbershop to get a flat top and cuts in the eyebrows . High end stores would blast Ain’t no half stepping.

Effortless for Max :lol: :pimp::pimp::lol:

2 different conversation

Clearly yes Wallo point artist can tour all over the world while not being at their peak of fame

But French / Max point is how careers are generally viewed

The people going to a Max B show are 40+

Weird conversation to have from someone old themselves.

Rick Ross is goofy. Talking about Mal's mom now? :smh:

He assumed that Mal and Biggs had the same father?

Y'all convinced that dude he was funny for too long.

This was corny. The video contradicted his words. He didn't stop him from getting arrested. He wasn't drunk. He would have just gotten a ticket and court date.

Looks like it was a work vehicle. He picked the wrong car to hit.

Maybe he has a $50 or even $100 liability. His insurance is the one who is going to flip out. The other vehicle was what? The dad looked like he was going through it.

Exactly. To me, buddy looked like a kid and he thought it was alright to talk to him like that, record it and then post it? If I’m his pops, me and bro got to squabble just off of principle.

Kane was nice. I can understand what Max is saying. But in NYC, it was who was nicest out of Kane, Rakim, Kool Moe Dee, and KRS One.

Ain’t No Half Steppin was my introduction. Those last bars combining five percenter, thug and witty bars.
