PS3 Stans Chime In!

So i just got the 120 GB slim PS3 cuz i got tired of my old one. It's the 1st Gen Japanese version (Model CECHA00) the X and O buttons are backwards and it always bugged me. I go on ebay to see what they're going for and some dude's trying to sell one for $1100! Is that a realistic price for it or is this guy on something???

I got a new PS3 because i had a Japanese version and the X and O buttons were inverted. I check the model number, put it on ebay and there are 2 listings. 1 New with opening bids at 2100 and a Used one that starts at 1100. Its the first ever one so I'm guessing it's rare. I was wondering if anyone had any idea of the price range i could be expecting from selling it

why you didn't just get a different controller.

The buttons aren't in the wrong spot. In everything besides actual gameplay the primary button is O instead of X. That's not really the issue anymore. Does anyone have any idea how much its worth?

It's not gonna make a difference. It's programmed to be like that. To OP, they're really not worth THAT much. The sellers are stupid. I also think you're stupid for getting a slim simply cuz you're tired of your fat. But whatever, it's your money.

The slim was part of a deal I made for one of those $197 Haier tvs. I won. And you don't understand how annoying that gets, especially when I'm playing with friends. I saw that deal too, dude had a huge bundle and I'm assuming he got less than 6 huned any estimation as to how much I can get

You're probably gonna get $500 or so for it. There's no difference between the Japanese and American PS3 besides the buttons.
