Positive news is our front 7 has emerged as one of the best in the League

More positives: We know Chip's offense can work against even the best in the league... just need a QB to make the proper reads.
Watching that game hurt, just for the simple fact that we could have had some of their impact players with ease (Wilson, Thomas).
I'm not against going to grab Mariota if Chip is sure he's the guy. I'm tired of this QB roulette, we need a franchise guy; have THAT guy and everything else will figure itself out (Word to Andrew Luck).

exactly.. there is no way in hell I want to give up 3 first round picks (which is what the LEAST I think it will take to move up from 20 something to top 3 to get mariota)

I think Bud Dupree would be nice in this defense especially if Smith II is going to be an ILB, he's played DE and OLB @ Kentucky but he'll probably be off the board by then. The greater need is the CB position since we there is no stability there, I still have hope for Jaylen to find his niche either as a CB or S. Boyk and IEO could be our ****** duo on the outside

Anyone keep up with Penn State fb? Wondering what the stock on Adrian Amos looks like. I think someone brought it up in here previously that he was a CB/S hybrid

Would love to grab Perryman from Miami to replace Ryans. Go defense first round and maybe grab Hundley in the 2nd. Then all defense from there.

Thoughts on signing Revis if the Patriots let him walk ?

If we're going to strengthen the run defense even more and force fumbles Perryman is a good replacement for Ryans.

But I see them choosing someone with better coverage abilities or if Smith moves inside permanently that problem is solved, that will let the team focus on getting another olb

I think smith ii is our demeco replacement.. and we sign worilds, who we were high on in the offseason.. hurts to say, now that he's playing so well, but I think graham is as good as gone (value is just to high for 4-3 teams)

Seems like most fans are still hung up on the SEA game, including myself. After seeing some more all-22 it looks like this was still a winnable game regardless of TOP & how many plays we had. There were a few opportunities to strike on big gains and the O-line missed a few plays. Hoping somehow the seeding ends up as follows:

1- Green Bay
2- Arizona
3- Philadelphia
4- South winner
5- Seattle
6- Detroit/Dallas

We should have a good chance to advance to the next round. I'm assuming Seattle should advance and head to Green Bay(take care of the dirty work for us) and we have a matchup against Arizona. If we advance then we would host Seattle. It's a long shot but it's just a hypothetical situation that I'd think would work best for the squad. Arizona would have to beat Seattle for this to happen
