I like On Sight
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dangerous_(Michael_Jackson_album)"MJ blew up the New Jack Swing movement among mainstream America when he did Dangerous.
You've got to stop. New Jack Swing was never THAT mainstream and Guy and Teddy and them had been doing that since the 80's successfully.
Dangerous came out in the 90's.
"Please don't compare Prince and Radiohead to this nonsense of an album.
In addition to commercial success, the album received critical acclaim from contemporary critics. It has been listed as the most successful album of all time in the new jack swing style.[5]
IDK where you're getting that from but I didn't say that. The song "New Jack Swing" came out in 89, but Mike put it on in 91.
Like Bobby Brown was running **** the whole time in between. Like Bell Biv Devoe wasn't putting in work in that time.
I'm not irate at all. But if you're going to spout off about music and be so incredibly mistaken.....well, I have a low tolerance for that nonsense.
This is what I'm saying. People want to talk about needing some sort of higher understanding and appreciation of music to like this album.
Talking about "pushing boundaries" when he just jumped on the same sound that's permeated Pop Music for the last 5 years.
OK
Whether you like music or not is a personal opinion. No one is forcing you to like the album bro.
I liked it alright but I doubt I'm gonna play it all that much in the future. I just think it's intriguing to see what music Kanye makes being in the position that he is. Seeing as he's the artist in hip hop music with the greatest spotlight on him, it's always interesting to see how people react to what he puts out. For whatever reason, *insert random artist* making a certain type of music doesn't have the same impact as Kanye West making that same type of music.
Don't care about your "low tolerance" dude I really don't give a ****.
sarcasm. i was pissed he would even touch it again after he did such a masterful job the first go roundNo matter how bad people say this album is - this album has something for everyone --- songs that some hate others love and vice versa ....
I read someone said he grew from Common's Strange Fruit?
Are you kidding?
I know you're tired of loving, of loving
With nobody to love, nobody, nobody
Just grab somebody, no leaving this party
With nobody to love, nobody, nobody
I know a lot of people don't like this album but I can see a ton of opinions changing in the future. It's that kind of album that will take time to grow on listeners. For example at first I couldn't stand "On Site" but it's starting to grow on me after multiple plays. I really wish he would've stayed with that switch up a minute in though, he could've done something great with that!

I heard it all...dude said MJ blew up New Jack swing...
That **** was on its way out the door...12 Play killed all that.
I know you're tired of loving, of loving
With nobody to love, nobody, nobody
Just grab somebody, no leaving this party
With nobody to love, nobody, nobody
I wish this chorus lasted forever
If you love me so much then why'd you let me GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Y'all blowing me w/ this, "I've listened 8x & I still hate it." line. If you hate it, stop listening, k?!.
Yeah, I think I'm gonna throw that cover on.I like the album.
Its not his best work but its not his worst either.
But i wonder why he is adding so much reggae to his music lately. I like reggae, am Jamaican lol but i feel he over does it.
Also Bound 2 is overrated i thought he should have did better with that sample.
This cover is sick :
