Hope this is the start of the rivalry being renewed. Those 49ers Cowboys games in the 90’s were epic. Even in the late 90’s when both teams started to decline, that energy was still there.

I’ll be in the building Sunday. 49ers by 10

49ers dominated the 80s, Cowboys were virtually nonexistent in the latter half of the decade as the top 4 teams in the NFC at the time were SF, NYG, WAS, and CHI year in year out.

Cowboys got three chips in the 90s, but SF got one and was still a perennial SB contender every year Young was at QB.

Since 2000, the "rivalry" hasn't produced the kind of hype, energy, and drama it once generated because neither team has reached that same level of dominance of past years.

Cowboys are 5-2 all time vs SF in the playoffs but the 49ers won the last playoff meeting in '95 en route to the SB

This WC game is the perfect time to reignite the 🔥

Niners should put up their A-Game and zero turnover from Garrapolo no pick six

its gonna be a fun game to watch
