Full Nominee List

"You think I give a damn about a Grammy?"
I use to have that mentality, however, a Grammy is a pretty significant award. It's not recognition from your hood, but it's recognitionfrom the entire music industry. Trust me, having the title "Grammy nominated" before your name in every article is powerful.

Kanye is gonna win Rap Solo for Stronger (although I think he should have been nominated for that in Song of the year).

I cant wait till Kanye gets shafted this year even tho he probably deserves it. Altho his peech would be something to look forward to if he won

@ Soulja Boy being nominated for a GRAMMY!

There are some absolutely terrible nominees alongside him, though. Shop Boyz...? Really...?

I just hope that...

- Danja takes home a Songwriter Award
- Feist takes best new artist
- Lupe takes home the Grammy he's nominated for

I knew they were gonna forget about Legend...

John Legend is one of my favorite artists doing it... but I tried to tell everyone he was NOT getting tons of nominations for his latest album. NT (and only NT) deemed it a classic for some odd reason, and despite the fact that I'm a huge fan... the CD was just OK, and it lacked replay value. Itwas like elevator music. Hopefully he goes back to his old style, which got him something like 8 Grammy nods (which he is because he's going back in withKanye to do his new album. He knows the deal

i hope kanye loses all of them cuz it would be mad funny to watch, plus RIP to his mom, but I don't wanna hear 8 speeches about her.

select picks:

Rehab should win a lot of the awards its nominated for
Everything (Michael Buble) should win male pop, even though I love Mayer's Belief and What Goes Around
Makes Me Wonder (Maroon 5) should win pop duo/group
No One should win female r&b
I'll be happy if either I Get Money or Stronger win rap solo, I'm still feeling both those tracks
Southside for rap duo
Kanye should win most of the rap awards
Michael Buble for best traditional pop vocal album
*Forgot that FSLS was nominated for album of the year in 2007, also for best pop vocal. the dixie chicks cleaned up last year though

So is anyone else feeling a sort of way about the possibility of Rihanna winning a Grammy (Rap Collab)? I mean I guess it's more of The Dream's Grammythan it is Rihanna's.

Timbaland has to win producer of the year. The only thing is they didn't include FSLS and Mark Ronson has all those Amy Winehoouse songs. I hope Lupe andKeyshia get one.

now soulja boy gonna have 'grammy-nominated' when he sells his weed plate cd. matter fact 'weed plate' is too good of a term for his trash.

i ain't mad or anythin...it's just sad...you'd expect the grammys to be the most prestigious music award and this dude got nominated forthat

Amy Winehouse has this.

Unfortunately, I don't see her making it to the awards ceremony.
