As grown men, we should know the difference between good sheets and bad sheets. There's no reason for you to be over 20 years old, and have them little lint balls on your bed sheets fam. Ain't no woman about to be rolling around in your bed getting little cloth knots stuck under her toenails. Which is what leads me to make this thread. Each one teach one, until the student becomes the teacher. I'm not gonna lie, I don't know everything about fine linen. So I call on my NT brederen and sistren for guidance. Back in my late teens, I'll admit..I was copping Mainstays brand sheets from Walmart (or is it Target, idk). The types of sheets that makes the wild DJ Kid Capri turntable scratch when you rub your leg on em. But I changed...a lot. I stepped my thread count up, I stepped my quality up. But part of me believes that I can still do better. And I would do better... if I knew better. So here's where i call for help
To my knowledge, Egyptian cotton is always the way to go right? I been doing some searching, and noticed that they got Microfiber Egyptian cotton. I've never tested these out, but the whole microfiber thing throws me off.
My main confusion comes from my lack of knowledge of Comforters and Duvet Covers. What are some go to factors to look for when choosing one? I know goose down is always the best right? Well I can't afford that so what's the next best thing?
Pillows. It's important to have pillows. Especially if you 6'6 and you smashing a 5'5 ting, you need enough pillows to put under her back to give you #DatLeverage..but that's a topic I'll touch on at a later time. Down pillows I'm assuming is also the best. I've had my run with memory foam pillows. Unappreciated in the winter because they get hard like rock once that cold air hits em.
Anyways, shed some light on this topic. I know we have some interior decorators on here, so let's make this an informative and educational experience for everyone.
