First year playing Fantasy Baseball... 12 Team Keeper League. Doing this as a part of a Tri-Sport (BBall, Baseball, Football) with friends. I honestlyhaven't watched a baseball game in 3 years, so I was a little unprepared for the draft. However, I think I did okay.

Now I got a couple questions:

1) How does my team look? Am I lacking in any major categories that might end up hurting me?
2) Do I have anyone worth dropping for Casey Blake? I love his triple position eligibility (1B, 3B, OF). Josh Willingham is also a FA.

This is a keeper league so I tried to take some young guns, but people kept ignoring the older guys. I managed to scoop up Smoltz in the 9th

Other than Kerry Wood, there aren't many good options. I'm watching the W/W pretty closely.

Right now, you have 3 closers. That's good enough for now. Closers pop up throughout the season due to injuries/ ineffectiveness. I usually onlydraft 3 closers as well, spending my other picks on hitting and starting pitching.
Pena may even take over this season, if Lyon is ineffective. Even thoughLyon has closed before, he's more of a set-up guy, while Pena has the stuff to be a closer. Saito hasn't pitched this spring in a game due to a calfinjury (threw off flat ground fine, but felt something when throwing off a mound), so Broxton could start as the closer if Saito isn't ready for OpeningDay. But still, Broxton is a nice source of K's (100 K's is great for a reliever) and should help ERA/ WHIP.

I usually only carry 1 catcher. Unless you start 2 catchers, there's little use for another catcher. You could pick up another position player that willprobably put up better stats than a late round catcher will. Maybe pick up someone off the WW for a cheap source of steals.

Nice pickups on the 2nd basemen. Aaron Hill is one of the underrated 2B's in the league. Had a good season last year, and I'm optimistic he can putup similar numbers again.
Very solid 1-2 punch in Webb and Smoltz. Both have been healthy these last few years and should post 200+ innings, 15+ wins and good ERA/ WHIP #'s.
 
We'll just go ahead and sticky this now to avoid more and more threads being made the closer and closer we get to the greatest day of every year: MLBOpening Day.
