NT's LEGAL Gun Thread UPDATE...First Youtube Firearm Review Page 61

Went to an outdoor range at a state park the past 2 weekends. People do not follow the range rules very well. Should I be the guy that says something? I just feel a little funny correcting older and/or more experienced shooters, but youd think they should know better.

No free standing shooting - several people were doing it
No handling firearms while people are down range - again, several people handling them for a few seconds at a time
No pistols at rifle range - guy was shooting from a rest
@jkitty
Were you at Marriotsville? Ive been meaning to join

Be that guy. Id rather be a stickler than dead... I play no games. When the range is cold you better put ur damn guns when im walkin downrange or we got problems haha i enjoy outdoor ranges the most but it can be nerve racking surveying others and how bad they are at basic handling. Haha im always like yea you mind laying that shotgun/ar back n the case when your not firing it. Not tryna catch a ND n my hip cuz you want a gun your not even presently firing locked n loaded and on the table. Gettin muzzled swiped :x i try n go when as few ppl r there as possible hah indoors is def much safer imo but yea be your own range officer if ppl r trippin. Trust no one

You see that 9 yr old girl that killed that instructor with a mac 10? Who lets a 9 yr old fire an automatic weapon? Outdoors no less sad

Okay, I have a question, and it's mainly for people who live in more urban areas.

I live in hawaii, where gun ownership is very strict. I visit the mainland a few times here and there, so I'm not that isolated.

Recently, with the Ferguson and Powell shootings, people on my local forum keep talking about how it's important to own a gun etc.

I've never felt my life was ever in danger, to the point where I needed a gun. The one time, where I've had guns drawn upon me by police, was a case of mistaken identity.

Anyway, question is, have some of you grown up, where it's necessary to have a firearm for protection? And if so, is it more common than I realize?

It's definitely important for American citizens to own guns. It gives us the power.

I don't own yet, nor have I ever needed a gun. But someday in the future, I'd rather have one and not need it than need on, and not have it.

Why california gun laws so strict

Hippies man, hippies.

Cell phone shot of my Colt XSE. Switched out the double diamond rosewood grips for these with the medallion. They weren't made for ambi 1911s, so I had to carve out a part for the safety on the right side with a Dremel.

600

Just sharing 4 of my shots from my range trip

just trying to keep the thread going.

Sold the HK, I just can't get jiggy with the LEM trigger, $40 magazines, and lack of aftermarket sights. Also sold my M&P 9 FS.

Was going to get a 5" Pro CORE and a deltapoint 2, but couldn't find one for a decent price, and the DP 2 aren't out, so I went with a lightly used 5" Pro with an APEX kit and RAM, night sights, talon grips, 5 mags.

Swapped the night sights to my FS 45 (will be going back in the bedroom for nightstand duty) and ordered an ameriglo pro glo front sight for it. Also ordered another 2000 124/125 gr bullets.

I think for the time being, I'm done messing with those. 2 - 5" Pro's set up almost identically, compact for carry, 45's for fun/woods, I think I'm set. Just need more bullets and primers. That's where my money will be going next.

Also, Ameriglo's customer service is top notch. The tritium vial came out of my front sight, I emailed them Sunday when I got home with pics. Monday morning they told me to trash the old sight and a new one would be on it's way. Got it tuesday.

Bought a core 15 upper with MOE handgaurds and a flash hider for 345... And so it has begun. Cpl months my first AR will be complete. Will prob buy AMT lower with MOE stock n grip
