NT: School me on the Laundry Pack 95s?

How's the quality and comfort, and how limited are they?
Assume they're meant to look stonewashed but hard to find close up pics of a new pair.
Saw a pair recently and they looked VERY faded in some spots. Are they meant to look like that,or is it wear?
