Please teach me what is I need to do to survive this. I am dying everyday when I get home from work, I just want to sleep. I see all my friends juggle all of that and they seem perfectly fine, energetic even. For me, by Friday I am ready to sleep all weekend. I went out this past weekend for the first time in a long time and I had fun but was exhausted after an hour or so. I couldn't keep up with everyone whos MY age. Any advice? I'm 24 by the way so is this lack of energy normal?

Fam im taking 12 credit hours and work 40 a week and still have time to go out once a week.

If you aren't, exercise.

Take a multivitamin daily.

Drink nothing but water.

Remove distractions from your bedroom like your tv.

1. Stop fapping

2. You have you get more active during the week. Light jog, or even take the stairs.

3. Get up. Most times, you think you're tired, but once you actually get IP and get rolling, you're not as sleepy as you thought.

4. Get some new yambs. New yambs will always put an extra pep in your step

We're the same age, you're just washed.

But on the real, how many hours of sleep do you get per day?

you gotta have fun time and decompress during the week.  Isolating fun time only on weekends aint gonna cut it.  Go to a doctor.  Youre too young too be feeling that tired; might have chronic fatigue, depression, malnutriton, or other underlying health issues.

When was the last time you had a physical with blood work? I'm usually tired during the week, but Friday @ 5 I get my "second wind" and I'm ready for the weekend.

24?  I'm 32 and still go out both during the week and weekends.  You might need to seriously go to the doctors

What is your sleep like during the week? I assume you aren't getting much.

You still are pretty young (24) so you should have energy on weekends to go do things - but your body tells you a lot, and it also gets used to routine. A lot of fun social time is at late hours. You get up early for work so sometimes your body gets used to that and the later hours that happen on the weekends you just aren't 100%.

It's actually really easy. I used to go out in college, etc and always be up till 3 or 4 am. When I started working these habits carried over and I'd sleep like at 12 or 1 am. I'd be exhausted all week and just want to sleep all weekend.

Now, I wake up at 5:15 am. Go to bed at 930 pm (well put on an audio book with 30 min timer). I wake up refreshed, go for a 45 minute walk, and eat breakfast . Energy all day. On weekend I sleep in till 8 regardless of how late I'm out. Get up, do some errands and then, if tired, take a 2 hour or so nap. It works. Do it.

If you're 24 and this tired, like some said above I'd get some tests ran to make sure you cover all bases.

I think it's a lot to do with sleeping schedule. How much sleep do you get during the week? Honestly.

If you have no sleep during the week, your body and mind know that the weekend is free time, you can sleep to catch up on sleep you missed during the week.

You smoke? out of shape? no 24 yr old should be making this post. You build some of the best bonds with coworkers around your age outside of work at that stage, these ****/entry level jobs. Also do get checked, had a friend that used to say this in her 20s, eventually she was diagnosed with MS.

Well I have lupus and its pretty well treated but I am so exhausted all the time, if I don't set an alarm I can sleep 14 hours straight and that's WITH going to bed early. And to answer your questions, no I don't do anything of those things? I'm also 102lbs athletic.

Don't get me wrong I've built bonds with my coworkers, I just don't have the energy to go out and have a drink. I feel like a 60 year old woman.

I try to get at least 6-8

I have depression and lupus.

Sorry to hear you have lupus, my homegirl has it and last weekend, she opted to stay in cuz she needed rest. Completely understandable.

Turning 26, I have taken 2 courses and work full time and go out pretty much all of the time. I drink caffeine every work day and walk almost a mile every day on my break.

I hit the gym 3 times a week, one with mostly calisthenics in the beginning, some lifting before I go out Friday night, and Sunday to sweat out all the crap.

One thing that's also helped is, to not always have to try to go to every event. Let yourself move on your own schedule. Opt to meet up later or grab a Lyft to meet up if you need time to relax

If you can do it, cut coffee out of your diet or switch to tea. I haven't had coffee in a couple of years. I was only drinking one cup each morning but I feel better after cutting it out. You save money too. I actually drink the Sleepytime Echinacea Complete Care tea about twice a day. Promotes wellness and supports your immune system. It's caffeine free too. Maybe give that a try if you're a coffee drinker. If you're used to drinking coffee you'll feel off for a couple of weeks, probably even more tired, but in the end it will be worth it.

Fam,

I'm 28, I work a full time, do property management on the side, maintain a part time retail gig, and still run my own side hustle....

I spend at least one night a weekend with my boys just because I need it.

You just gotta work through the exhaustion and get out there. Theres a huge world out there.

Figure out whats most important to you and just do it.

How does havin a full time job have you to tired to do anythin on the weekend or during the week? If your that tired your just lazy or workin in a coal mine m-f

Yeah, pure laziness if you axe me.

I work 40-55 hrs a week and have a 7 month old. Im never to tired to not do something. Still go to gym 3 times a week. Im in my 20's. Idk maybe its just in me to keep movin cuz i dont get tired.

And plus, i get it, get fly i got 6 jobs i dont get tired.
