NT, convince me "cutting the cord" is a good idea

Sling is cool, wish the UI and the guide looked a lil bit better

YouTube TV is live for Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, and the San Francisco Bay Area.

It's lineup looks pretty good. I might have to try the month trial and see how I like it.

Line up seemed trash compared to the 100+ channel direct tv now deal for 35 assuming you got in early to lock in the promo price

I'm not one of those folks, so... :lol

Does it only work in those cities? Or can I be somewhere else and just not get the local channels?

Fireticks is cool, but sling is looking good right now. Can I watch any mlb game whenever, with that sports package? NBA? NFL? Soccer? All. I care about are sports really.

Sling is [emoji]128686[/emoji] for sports imo. There's always a bit of a lag between real time and sling. I watch mainly NFL and my fantasy apps notify me of players scoring a TD half a minute before sling showed it [emoji]128545[/emoji]

I was taking a look at the PS Vue channel listing, and found out that a subscription also lets you use apps like Watch ESPN, HBO Now, BEIN Sports and others. Unless the Youtube TV quality is just vastly superior, I think I will be subscribing to Vue

DTNow was cool and it is definitely a great deal, especially if you got it early at $35 but since it doesn't jive well with Android TV I couldn't justify keeping it having to run it off either our phone or the family tablet

Sling works best for me now, doubt I even try YouTube Live

Since I updated to Jarvis my Prospirts hasent been working like it was before. Is anyone having the same issue, and is it time for me to settle down and just get Sling?

[h1]Hulu Live TV beta launches: $40 for 50+ channels and DVR[/h1]
Cord cutters can expand their DVR space and stream to 'unlimited' in-home TVs for $20 extra.

https://www.engadget.com/2017/05/03/hulu-live-tv-beta/

Hulu with Live TV is a $40 bundle combining 50+ channels and 50 hours of cloud DVR space with the company's existing streaming service, ready to take on incumbents like Sling TV, PlayStation Vue and DirecTV Now in the battle for cord-trimming customers
Extra cost add-ons include boosting the cloud DVR with 200 hours of storage, or "unlimited screens" streaming that lets users watch video simultaneously on as many devices as they want at their home, as well as up to three devices anywhere else. Both features cost $15 per month on their own, or they can be had together for $20.
Only question I have so far is if you already have Hulu is it $40 plus what you pay? I like what I've read so far and will prob try it out

They had me at ESPN, for $35 a month sign me up Google
@AZwildcats
what if i told you that Sling basic at 19.99 a month already has espn, espn2, and espnews.....then for $5.00 extra ($25.00 total) you get pac 12, NBATV, and a bunch of beinsports and fox sports channels...all in HD.

Damn. I'm paying verizon fios $180+ a month and they don't even include espn news & nba tv.

Haven't read the past few pages, but has there been any considerable updates on the Live HD Sports dept?

Have started using Kodi on my Android Sony TV, but didn't notice any improvements for live sports.

I'm okay with everything else that's offered, but I NEED to have live HD sports. I cannot compromise on that.

AT&T is offering TV and Internet packages starting at $89.99/mo. and it's a year contract as opposed to the two years from other providers.

I wish I could cut them loose but live HD sports is something I also cannot compromise. I just can't.

That's my only concern

You can get an OTA antenna (like a Mobu Leaf) and get whatever games are broadcast on the free channels like ABC, NBC, etc.
