noob help - just purchased XI infrared low, want to paint the heel

total noob here.   

 i bought the xi infrared low, and the white heel part bothers me.  i want to paint it black.  do i use angelus paint? black or flat black?  or do i spray paint it?     how do i keep the infrared jumpman logo as is?  any tips on not messing this up?  help!! thx in advance!

Since you are painting only a section of the shoe I would highly recommend taping all the areas that you don't want to a paint (jumpman, patent leather, etc)

wow thx guys  for the info!

so turtle feathers - so you are not recommending what Polar recommended me?  i just wanted to make the heel part black...  painting the whole midsole(whatever that is) freaks me out.   

and yes, i don't understand what the entire midsole mean!  lol (i'm a serious noob)   you mean the white part in the middle?  but i'm not sure if i want that...   i don't like all black...

ok! i'm relieved. what about infrared jumpman logo?  you just buy a fine brush and paint it around it?  or should i just paint the logo too?

 im gonna give it a shot on the weekend.  wish me luck!
