im not even close to finishing the right side of the shoe. I hope I applied enough leather prepper(acetone) so far so it doesn't chip once I decide to rock em. I also have work to do around the upper pod, the pods themselves and the midsole (which is not easy, I know, especially that midsole when it comes to chipping). Any advice and suggestions are much appreciated and thanks for viewing!

Nice dude, looks good so far. The black is definitely better than the white and you have definitely done a clean job. Unfortunately I didn't know that you wanted to paint the midsoles or I would have suggested buying the angelus leather dye. If you are painting the midsole black, then it is best to first dye it with the black leather dye and then paint over it with the black paint. This is so when the midsole chips it shows the dyed midsole underneath rather than the white.

Anyway keep it up dude!

thanks dude, appreciate the advice. I still didn't touch them so I can order that and continue once it comes in. Also got a few more things I'd like to paint that are easier said than done :lol
I'm hoping I applied enough leather prepper(acetone) so it doesnt chip over time. All I had were cotton balls so it was easier said than done applying it on that tiny space. Same with the painting cuz I had no tape :lol

dope work on em for the first custom job, im in the same boat
lol technically its my second (my first was painting over a beat pair of af1s :lol), but ny advice would be is to just get into it. It requires perseverance and patience but the end result makes you feel accomplished, even with my bad af1s :lol

thanks for the advice, i think i've learned the patience part quick while decreasing my Chicago Xis needless to say.

Yeah I was gonna ask how to do that properly. I'm not even closed to finish, and that's just one shoe :lol
