Nike and Wakeboarding

I love wakeboarding and following professional wakeboarders on twitter/instagram. Many clothing companies (such as nike, oakley etc.) sponsor wakeboarders. I love Nike and everything they do, but why don't they promote wakeboarding more? All they currently have is just sponsored athletes who get some clothes. Why don't they start a clothing line, shoe endorsement or even a commercial?

I love wakeboarding and I want to see it grow fasting along side of Nike
