New Nike fan, need help with all these sites

So new Nike fan here. Bought several pair off the Nike site, but found a ton of other sites that are selling very cool looking, unique dunks and jordans for about $175.00. I guess I'm not understanding why Nike site doesn't have these same shoes for sale. I've gotten burned o by Topsneakers.com, bought two pair, took my money, then told me they were out of stock, still waiting for my refund and it's been 3 weeks.
Where are all these other sites...Kix.com, StockX, Topsneakers.com and a bunch of others getting their stock at???? Thanks for the help.

Stockx is a reseller-site (marketplace)

If you’re new to sneakers and sneaker collecting then the golden rule (at least for brand new pairs) is if it’s too good to be true, don’t risk it. There are scam websites that will steal your money and also individuals selling replicas that are passed off as authentic.

Always make purchases on a credit card, ideally one with specific purchase and/or return protection, to protect yourself from getting scammed.

Until you have more experience, probably stick with buying from manufacturers directly like Nike.com and major retailers like Foot Locker or JD Sports for example

Since topsneakers.com and/or kix.com can’t be found anymore, they both seem like they are one of those scamming sites (which basically means they will not refund you unfortunately)…
And while stockx is a reselling platform, they have been accused by Nike for authenticating the fake Nike shoes as legit. So, I believe what d e beatup said in his last paragraph should be the best advice for you at this point…. I mean…, at least until you get enough knowledge to figure out neither sites you’ve referred must have been selling fakes right away….
